Beijing residents woke up to a smatter of snowfall (as announced around Twitter: Acid snow!) this morning, and those of us in Shanghai are likewise chilling out in our apartments and offices.
Less than two days ago, it was 64 degrees Fahrenheit in Shanghai, but with today’s cold snap, temperatures plunged to a brisk 39 degrees this morning.
Shanghai will warm up a little bit as the day goes on, but today’s high is only 50 degrees, and tomorrow will be even colder.
So grab those coats and sweaters (but please, leave the Ugg boots) out of storage for the long haul, winter is here!
