This month’s Adoptable Pet from Jaiya’s Animal Rescue
Name: Billy (dog)
DOB: Oct 2010
Health: Neutered, vaccinated, deflead & dewormed.
On my way to work on June 24, Billy was found crouching on the curb of the elevated high way right after passing the NanPu Bridge, on the Pudong side. Although frightened and shivering, Billy was luckily not injured confirmed by the physical check up.
As I already have 2 dogs at home, and one of them 11 years old, the vet recommended not brining Billy home, as a new young male dog will cause severe mental pressure on the senior dog at home.
So I put Billy at the boarding home (Mignon Boutique in Biyun Pudong) temporarily. After 1 week of observation, and making sure there is no physical injury or diseases, I got Billy vaccinated at Shanghai Naughty Family Veterinary Hospital in Pudong.
After the vaccination, Billy was sent to the dog training school operated by Mignon Boutique. I was hoping the school training would help Billy and the future owner an easier adoption experience with better mannered behavior. I am really hoping the new owner will give Billy a sweet home with care, and will not discard him one more time.
After one month of dog school, Billy was spayed at GuoGuo Animal Hospital, recommended by Ms. Susu Ma (苏苏妈), owner of GuaiGuaiLeYuan (乖乖乐园).
Thanks to the care of Susu Ma, Billy quickly recovered from the surgery, and is now a very healthy, active, young boy. Billy will be a good companion to people looking for an active pet, with his endless energy, keen enthusiasm, and a demand for attention.
