Lasers, lanterns, fireworks, dragons and anime!
All the things you'd want to do this Monday through Thursday. On the schedule this week: Lantern Festival signals the end of Spring Festival, Superbowl gets some replays around town, and Subcinema kicks off its Blaxpoitation month. Read on for all the details, or check out our calendar for more!

MONDAY

Superbowl Replay Schedule
If you missed the Superbowl this morning because you, like us, can't justify taking an extra half-day to get morning-drunk after you've already cleverly stretched your CNY holiday into a two-week affair, then you'll have to do with a replay later this evening. The replay schedules around town are as follows: Boxing Cat (7:30pm), The Camel (4pm and 8pm), and Big Bamboo (8pm). The rest of the normal spots don't list replay times, but we're sure Bubba's, O'Malley's and all the others will also screen it again.

Lantern Festival Party @ Phebe Club
Pretty much the only place capitalizing on the Lantern Festival today is Phebe Club, one of our favorite Chinese-style clubs. They're promising some kind of traditional show and dance (likely up on the bar) to celebrate the end of Spring Festival, plus 100RMB open bar. Things kick off at 9pm.

Coffy follows the story of a nurse with a rad afro who administers vigilante justice, after her 11-year-old sister gets messed up right proper by some baaad heroin. As always, free entry and free popcorn.
