I support the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Hong Lei. Only the people of China have the greatest right to discuss their human rights situation. Hong Lei was right to point out that the human rights situation for Chinese people has increased dramatically over the last three decades. There is no perfect score in human rights, but the attacks of the US on China’s human rights is a diplomatic battle. The US government is not so kind as to care more for the human rights of the Chinese people than the Chinese government. The human rights card is but one of their tools in global diplomacy and in containing China. Therefore, those Chinese people who align themselves with the United States on human rights issues can only be said to be stupid.
