The qualifying draw for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup took place in Melbourne on Tuesday night; 20 teams will compete for 11 potential tournament places. The teams which will be preventing China from taking one of those 11 places are: Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq.
As pointed out by Wild East Football, Chinese form against these teams isn’t good, having only beaten Indonesia regularly in the past:
Group of death for China in the 2015 AFC qualifiers? Already beaten twice by Iraq in WC quals, Saudi always strong, Indonesia no pushovers.
