Kids these days, am I right? Students at a middle school in Wenzhou, Zhejiang, are complaining after peepholes were installed in dormitory doors so teachers could spy on the students inside.
For some reason, these little emperors think its “creepy” and a “massive invasion of privacy” for middle-aged teachers to be able to watch their 13- and 14-year-old students getting undressed. These kids don’t know how lucky they have it, they could be in a Catholic school.
“Advantage obviously outweighs disadvantage,” according to the school president, who said that the peepholes were installed to prevent students playing video games or violating school rules because what the hell do they think they are, people or something?!
He Jiancai, a Wenzhou psychologist, told the Wenzhou Metropolis Daily that the peepholes may “affect the students’ psychological development”. Then again students who aren’t mentally prepared to be spied upon at all times obviously aren’t ready for life in modern China.
Some students blocked the peepholes with toothpaste, a severe red flag for extremist tendencies, we can but hope they have been reported to the local police.
