A huge fire broke out in a textile market in Harbin, burning for three and a half hours before being put out by firefighters.
The fire started around 9am Monday morning in the 5-storey Guorun Home Textiles Shopping Mall, consuming an area of 9,400 square metres, according to the Shanghai Daily.
A spokesperson for the local fire department said that the fire was possibly started by a welding accident, but that an investigation into the cause of the fire is still underway.
