JUE Festival 2013 – Mar 8-24
The JUE Festival is back in Beijing and Shanghai for the 5th time, and it comes with an abundance of exciting concerts and art events! Last year, the festival attracted over 39,000 visitors to 88 unique events.
This year is bound to set a new record with more than 300 artists, 125 events and 68 participating venues in Beijing and Shanghai.
Unlike other festivals where participants receive a share or get booked for a show, JUE is organized as an open-source festival, which means that the participating artists and organizers set their own ticket prices and directly benefit directly from the proceeds.
Besides international guests like How To Dress Well and Gang of Four, many local musicians and DJs such as Tang Trio, Acid Pony Club and more will hold special JUE events as well, so be on the look out for what happens around town.
