A piglet with two heads was born to a sow early April 9 in Jiujiang, Jiangxi province. This surprisingly cute new addition, coming in at 28 centimeters in length and 1 kilogram in weight, has eleven new brothers and sisters (all with one head).
The animal’s two heads are a result of a condition called polycephaly. Unfortunately, it’s very rare that those born with the condition survive piglethood. Although it was just born, it’s owner, surnamed Ouyang, is already planning it’s water funeral (which hopefully doesn’t mean dumping it in the river). At least the little guy will get a proper sendoff.
