Bubba’s BBQ-off: Bubba’s third annual BBQ cook-off is happening on May 11 2013! Chefs, BBQ die-hards, and even those who’s experience is limited to poking at chicken cutlets on their backyard Foreman are invited to show off their skills whipping up chicken, ribs, beef, sausage, and pulled meats. All those interested should fill out the entry form downloadable at Bubba’s website. Just a spectator? Pay 100RMB at the door and spend the day trying free samples swigging beer (beer isn’t free), and enjoying live bands. Samples run out early so be sure to get there at 11am or shortly after. In the event of rain, the contest will be pushed until May 18.
