Pierre Chaumont: Since We Last Spoke @ Pantocrator Gallery
Quebec artist Pierre Chaumont demontrates the traditional Japanese craft of kumi himo, which involves tying silk thread into shapes, through drawings, sculpture and video. The exhibition is on daily until May 2.

French environmentalist and journalist Yann Arthus-Bertrand’s documentary film Home is made entirely out of aerial shots of the Earth. The point is to show the diversity of life on Earth, as well as the many threats to that diversity. A donation to the Million Tree Project by Roots and Shoots Shanghai is included in the ticket price. You’ll also get a discount on popcorn and drinks with your ticket.

Body-City-Mechanism Opening Party @ Island 6
Through a combination of video, animation, photography, sculpture, LED and interactive artwork, the multimedia exhibition by Liu Dao Collective examines issues surrounding urban growth, biological design and metropolitan identity. The exhibition is on until June 28.
