Tickets are now available for The Rotary Club of Shanghai’s annual Gala Dinner!
The Rotary Club of Shanghai is proud to announce the upcoming annual Gala Dinner on May 11th 2013. It will be a celebration for notable charitable works in China. Tickets are on sale now. For tables or individual seats, please contact Mark Secchia (138 1775 7949 or [email protected]).
The Rotary Gala Dinner enhances the profile of Rotary in China and awards corporate, individual, and non-profit organizations that have been outstanding in the their charitable work in China. The goal is to create awareness and to raise funding for the club’s different charitable projects. Amongst these projects is ‘Gift of Life’, which provides life-saving surgeries for children across China who suffer from congenital heart disease. To date, ‘Gift of Life’ has funded 409 life-saving surgeries in China.
This year’s Rotary Gala Dinner will be held on Saturday the 11th of May 2013. On this night, The Rotary Club of Shanghai will also announce the winners of the 2013 Leadership awards. Winners will receive funds for use in their projects throughout the year 2013. Last year’s winners include the non-profit organization ‘Wokai’, Citi Bank’s ‘Indigenous Batik Program’ and Sherry Poon; founder of ‘Eco Design Fair Shanghai’.
In addition to ticket sales for the event, the Rotary Club of Shanghai accepts direct sponsorships for ‘Gift of Life’. Interested companies or individuals can select from the several sponsor levels listed below. In exchange for their sponsorship, companies will be able to display their logo on the event’s marketing materials and press releases, put promotional or other give-away items in the goody bag, and receive acknowledgement at the event. The four levels of sponsorship are as follows:
Platinum Sponsorship RMB 200,000 (Sponsor 8 children)
Gold Sponsorship RMB 100,000 (Sponsor 4 children)
Silver Sponsorship RMB 50,000 (Sponsor 2 children)
Bronze Sponsorship RMB 25,000 (Sponsor 1 child)
