Kim Han-sol (previously), grandson of late North Korean dictator has not been seen for days, according to a Bosnian newspaper. Han-sol is currently enrolled at a UN-sponsored college in Mostar.
Han-sol is the son of Kim Jong-nam, who was Jong-il’s heir apparent until an ill-fated trip to Disneyland led to him falling out of favour with his father and he was forced into effective exile.
The headmistress of the international college where Han-sol is enrolled told a reporter from Glas Srpske that “[Kim never goes] to North Korea; he lives here, has his friends here, and is an excellent student.”
The Glas Srpske reports that classmates confirmed that Han-sol had been absent from classes for several days.
Now, we’re not saying anything untoward has happened, but both Kim Han-sol and his father have been thorns in Kim Jong-un’s side, and the North Korean regime does have a habit of trying to assassinate irritating family members. It’s also equally likely that Han-sol is on a bender in Sarajevo and has no idea of the fuss he’s causing.
