This week, China’s Ministry of Agriculture formally declared the fields in Xinghua, Jiangsu province, as a part of China’s agricultural heritage. The fields are known as Duo Tian in Chinese and are used in traditional farming. Eighteen other types of farming methods were also named as a part of the national agricultural heritage, including Inner Mongolia’s dry farming method.
While we’re not sure what agricultural heritage really is, it sure makes for a pretty sight.
