Young singles in Jiangsu province are the nation’s loneliest, over 75 percent haven’t kissed anyone in over three years, a survey said on Wednesday.
The survey, conducted by dating website Baihe, found that the average Jiangsu man went 36 months without a kiss. Guangdong singles weren’t far behind, with an average of 30 months between kisses. Beijing residents were slightly less forever alone, waiting a comparatively short eight months between make-out sessions.
Shandong, though on average relatively promiscuous with only a month between snogs, had the greatest concentration of people who, like Drew Barrymore, have Never Been Kissed.
Slutty Shanghaiers on the other hand are kissing each other all the time. 92 percent of singles aged 22 to 35 said they’d kissed or been kissed in the last week. It’s refreshing to see that adults in the city are not huge liars about sex like Shanghai teens.
According to the China Daily, some netizens called for the establishment of a ‘kiss day’, apparently unaware that this pretend holiday was already invented by a Guangzhou water park as an excuse for a
publicity stunt kissing contest.
