A stabbing spree in Shenzhen on Monday left three people dead before police were able to subdue the attacker, AFP reports.
Three people were killed and three wounded, according to Shenzhen police.
He, 41, from Jieyang in Guangdong province, was subdued by officers who arrived at the scene three minutes after the first reports were received, and was taken to hospital after being wounded himself, police said.
A Guangxi man was arrested last week for killing two population control officials. In Beijing, the local government introduced stricter controls on the sale of knives to try after a number of stabbings there.
