Charity collab brew: In case you missed it or were too deep in a suds slumber to notice, Boxing Cat’s brewmaster Michael Jordan was auctioned off for charity at the kick-off brew cruise this past May during Shanghai Beer Week. The two winners, Jen Hirsch and Scott Wang, had the opportunity to, under Mike’s tutelage, personalize their own brew from the ingredients to the name, and now you can taste that brew at both Boxing Cat locations! The beer, titled SvJ Title Fight Ale, is a copper-colored ale brewed with four different kinds of hops and infused with ginger and cucumber. Boxing Cat describes it as “dangerously drinkable IPA with notes of ginger, apricot, peach and very light cucumber undertone.” It also packs a 8.8% ABV wallop. Hurry on down and grab a glass while supplies last!
