Caijing reports that a couple of enterprising migrant workers in Shenzhen have already begun touting plastic ‘pee-straight’ funnels designed to help men ensure they do not fall foul of the new fines for missing the target in public toilets.
The pair seen above were selling their wares on Baodeng street in Futian district for the bargain price of 10 yuan per piss funnel. Anyone found contravening the new policy — which came into force on September 1 — can be fined up to 100 yuan (though it’s still not clear how authorities intend to enforce or investigate the anti-drop regulation).
As the gentleman to the right demonstrates, the ‘pee-straight’ funnels are not only easy to use but fashionable to boot!
