Although the tweet did not specify the date of availability or when customers could purchase the new phones, the indication is that the wait in China for Apple’s latest phones won’t be as long as with previous devices.
Apple is set to announce the new iPhones at an event next Tuesday. A related PR event will be held in Beijing on September 11.
Apple is rumoured to have created the more budget-friendly iPhone 5C for emerging markets, especially China. With the launch of this aggressively-priced iPhone 5C, Apple intends to regain lost market share in China and head off competition from both domestic manufacturers and Samsung.
