As panda aficionados and regular readers of this site know, newborn panda cubs resemble freaky hairless rat worms. Taiwan’s first ever baby panda Yuanzai was no exception when she was first born. These recent photos show that she’s finally growing into being god damned adorable.
Focus Taiwan reports:
The two-month-old cub, which weighed 183.4 grams at birth July 6, is now a robust 3,860.4 grams, according to the zoo.
A health check on Yuanzai the previous day suggested that Yuanzai was healthy, with its heartbeat reaching 158 per minute and body temperatures at 35.7 degrees Celsius, the zoo said, adding that the cub had not grown any teeth yet.
However, care-givers are finding their job challenging as restless Yuanzai is hard to control during routine health checks.
