A middle-aged Anhui woman recently received facial reconstruction surgery after a spousal argument over household chores reached Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield levels, resulting in the husband biting off a piece of her nose, gbtimes reports.
The incident transpired between the husband and wife, both of “impatient nature”, during a feud over house work. While the man ran out of breath during their yelling match, the woman continued to nag.
The man, furious, then grabbed the woman, surnamed Yang, and bit off her left nostril.
The woman collected her piece of nose and rushed to the hospital, but doctors were unable to reattach it.
Yang forgave her extremely apologetic husband, but was devastated by the idea of wearing a mask to cover up her nose.
Eventually, the couple found a plastic surgeon in Jiangsu Province who was able to repair her nose using pieces of her rib cartilage for the rhinoplasty. After three surgeries, her nose has been restored to its previous appearance.
Doctors told media that Yang is “very excited to finally take off the mask and live normal life again”.
Earlier this year, in an equally dirty match escalating from an equally petty issue, a man in Guangzhou lost a piece of his ear after refusing to give up his seat on the subway.
But while the two biters displayed some incredibly scrappy fighting, it’s doubtful that anyone could give this scrotum-grabbing lady a run for her money in the ring.
