An entrepreneurial Chongqing man had his ingenious plan, of transforming a Hyundai Coupe into a Lamborghini and selling it as such, spoiled by the authorities, who towed the fake car.
According to JRJ, the baby-blue “Lamborghini” was left parked in a pedestrian area in the city’s Jiangbei district covered with “for sale” signs.
The owner surnamed Leng, told the Chongqing Economic Times he didn’t intend to sell the car but “just wanted to see how much I could get for it”. Sure.
Leng spent 2,000 yuan on a kit he bought online to convert his 30,000 yuan Hyundai into a Lamborghini. He was deducted 12 points from his driving license, and fined 800 yuan.
