25 people were killed after the powerful typhoon Usagi hit Southern China on the weekend, Reuters reports.
As the video indicates, roads flooded, rains poured, and various underwear-clad Hong Kongers had a hell of a time (0:55).
Usagi was the strongest typhoon in the West Pacific region this year and,as predicted, created chaos in areas of Guangdong, cutting electricity and water supplies, toppling houses, trees and cranes, blowing cars from the road and cancelling flights and shipping.
Luckily, tens of thousands were evacuated in Guangdong Province and more than 80,000 people were evacuated and 50,000 disaster-relief personnel were deployed in Fujian Province.
East Asia has been hit with several typhoons this year with Typhoon Utor and Typhoon Soulik creating havoc as well.
