Raul Bobet wine dinner: On October 17th, take your tastebuds on a trip to Catalonia Spain by attending the Raul Bobet wine dinner hosted by DS Wines and Samfaina. Tipples include Ekam Riesling, Taleia S.Blanc, Thalarn Syrah, Ferrer Bobet Priorat, Acusp Pinot Noir, all of which score above 92 on the Robert Parker rating system. Harvest Festival wine lunch at NAPA: On October 20 and 27th, Napa celebrates “Fete des Vendanges” an annual event at the end of the French wine country’s harvest season, where you get to feast on/imbibe on the fruits of the harvest. This year the bounty entails suckling pigs, whole ducks, whole fish, whole lamb legs, and a whole lotta wine.
