The horror! According to a (no longer so) top secret map disclosed in a video report by German investigative news publisher Der Spiegel, the NSA’s “Special Collection Service” division also seems to have its eager eyes and ears wide open in five “Chinese” cities, namely, Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taipei.
The newest discovery is just another surfacing of nothingness in the endless chain of NSA scandals these months, which included other passionate displays of trust and friendship such as the ongoing surveillance of German chancellor Angela Merkel’s mobile phone.
We trust that all transmission everywhere can contain intelligence on the USA’s apparently numerous enemies that are crucial to national security and hope the Greater Chinese governments will be appreciative in their responses. After all, it’s not like anybody is really surprised – sometimes even the best of friends endure seemingly bad things for the greater good, be it some good old hacking or tea kettles bugged with microchips.
