In Beijing’s Chaoyang District, 46 abandoned houses sit nestled between overgrown reeds and make up what looks to be an eerie suburban ghost town stretching across some 50 acres of land. The houses were constructed in1993, and throughout their 20 years of standing, only two people ever actually lived inside. The rest of the houses were never completed. Years of wind and rain have deteriorated the empty buildings, but some artifacts of habitation still remain inside.
