Taiwan’s giant baby panda cub Yuanzai will make her first public appearance tomorrow at the Taipei Zoo in Taiwan. Damn, the people at the Taipei Zoo are so lucky.
Yuanzai was born July 6, 2013 and weighed a mere 183.4 grams. She was the first female cub of giant pandas Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan from China. We remember when she was just tiny, hairless rat thing.
According to CCTV:
The 5,000 group tickets for the first 10 visiting days have already been sold out. Individual tickets, however, are still available.
The zoo will allow 400 visitors every 10 minutes into the Panda House, with no more than 20,000 visitors being allowed in a day.
Officials estimated that her debut will generate some 16.6 million US dollars.
She met the press for the first time on Saturday, on point as usual:
Aaaaand one more.
We’re rooting for you, Yuanzai.
