An online post featuring candid photos of more than 50 women using toilets at a university in Xiamen have been circulating across the internet and are understandably causing a great deal of upset.
Many of the pictures were taken at a public toilet in Xiamen University. The female students who used the toilet were being spied on and didn’t know a thing.
Online rumors have been saying that the bathroom candid camera concept has turned into an underground business.
The original post was found on a Tianya forum, posted by a guy named “乂”. He had claimed that the secret camera was part of a new “business” endeavor. To sell his point, he posted more than 50 pictures of women being spied on in the bathroom, some with mosaic on, some not. On each photo, there is a line written in English that reads: “This series was shot at a university in Xiamen, Fujian Province.”
Apparently, the English notes not only record the time and place that the photos were taken, but also include crude messages.
Reports say that beyond those 50 images, there are more pictures, even videos, available to download online.
People recognized one of the toilets seen in photos and traced it to the 3rd floor of the campus’ Jiageng No. 5 Building. The women’s toilet was located near a window. Because the photos were taken in the summer, however, the camera has since been removed.
Horrifically enough, many of the pictures are still available to download online.
