Kim Jong-un’s ‘friend for life’ Dennis Rodman was, as promised, in attendance for Kim Jong-un’s birthday this week and even sang to the portly leader at a basketball court along with his ‘goon squad‘ of American basketball players and the North Korean basketball team.
The ‘ding-dong diplomat‘ recently came under fire for a response he made to CNN upon being questioned about Kenneth Bae, the US citizen currently imprisoned in North Korea for attempts to “overthrow the government”.
The former NBA star has now apologized for lashing out against Bae and said that he had been drinking before the interview. “My dreams of basketball diplomacy was quickly falling apart,” he said.
“At this point I should know better than to make political statements. I’m truly sorry.”
