Hair is a pretty serious business in China, if you haven’t noticed, but nowhere so much as this barbershop in Beijing, where surveillance footage shows a customer getting stabbed in the chest by his hair stylist after he’d reportedly expressed discontent with his new haircut.
According to his colleagues, the barber, surnamed Bao, had only been working in the shop for about four days. On this final day, he’d apparently reached his breaking point and became so enraged during an argument with a male customer over his haircut that he ran over and stabbed him.
Bao was locked up but escaped through the window while waiting for the police to come. The victim’s lung was injured and he now needs to undergo surgery. Police have now issued a circle for Bao’s arrest.
