Nine different fires broke out across forests and grasslands on January 29 and January 30 in Gansu province, Xinhua reports.
Pictured above is a fire disaster in a grassland of Shandan county, Zhangye on January 30.
Fortunately, all nine fires were extinguished and no casualties were reported.
China has unfortunately seen its fair share of fire disasters lately. In January alone, two historic towns were partially destroyed by flames that took down houses and cultural relics.
