Valentines Day is a time of new love aka an excuse to charge exorbitant prices for milk chocolate and make overused sexual references to celebrate a time when Romans got drunk and whipped their women with animal hides, but I digress. Here are ten dinners that’ll make it worthwhile.
Mammamia!: Mammamia! is offering a special Valentines Day set menu with four virility-boosting courses. First course entails a choice of Balik salmon and big-eye tuna or San Daniele and Iberico ham with Stracciatella cheese. For the pasta course, pick between a handcrafted linguine tossed with sea urchin or Maccheroncelli tossed with beef cheek. The main course gives you a choice of either grilled seafood or slow-cooked pork ribs with rosemary potatoes. A dessert of double chocolate tortino will ensure you end the night with a ‘bang’ (zing).
