This is why we can’t have nice things. Fifteen Chinese tourists were forcibly removed from a China Eastern Airline plane in Phuket, Thailand, after a minor argument escalated into a bloody brawl. The Phuket – Wuhan flight eventually took off after police arrived at the scene, but with noticeably fewer Chinese passengers.
The fighting was triggered by a small misunderstanding; a couple with a child was arguing over changing their seats, and the guy next to them thought he was being insulted. He wasn’t, but so it goes. This confusion quickly grew into a fight, which then blossomed into a full-scale flight-fight-pocalypse.
15 fighters were removed from the plane and taken into police custody, and the flight left one hour late. The China Daily is probably going to have to release another “This is why we can’t take you guys anywhere” article about Chinese tourism.
