Diners Club International’s 2014 countdown of “Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants” is out, and once again Shanghai restaurants have snagged 5 spots. Here they are!
Ultraviolet and Mr & Mrs Bund, both by Paul Pairet, came in at 8th and 11th place respectively. FU1015 took the 26th spot, up 14 spots from last year, followed by Li Family Imperial Cuisine (46), and Franck Bistro (48). And Chef Ivan Li of Li Family Imperial cuisine was presented the “The Diners Club Lifetime Achievement Award.”
Congrats guys and here’s to inching up ever higher on Asia’s culinary totem pole in the years to come!
