Here’s a heart-warmer: A doctor in Zhejiang province turned himself into Iron Man to impress his 6-year-old son whom he’d been away from because of a busy work schedule.
Ecns.cn relays the news from Southern Metropolis Daily that 34-year-old Huang Chu, a doctor with a private clinic in Liushi county, Leqing city of Zhejiang province wanted to surprise his son with something he really liked.
“I have been busy with my work, and I couldn’t take time out to be with my child,” Huang said.
“Boys share the dream of becoming a superhero,” he added.
Huang got the idea to dress up as Iron Man after he saw images of homemade costumes online. He reportedly spent all his free time (when he wasn’t actually spending it with his son, we hope) creating the armor using plastic and it was complete after a month.
The armor features a small Chinese flag painted on the chest and tai chi logos on the palms of the suit.
Huang took images with his beaming son after it was complete and will forever be known among his son’s friends as “the cool dad”, presumably.
“Friends of my son were astonished when he showed them the pictures, and some of them even asked to come to our home to see the suit,” Huang said.
