A Filipino national was arrested on Sunday in Taiwan after he reportedly killed a local shopkeeper by stabbing him 150 times in the neck with a single chopstick.
It’s believed that the two had been fighting over money issues when the suspect, Dawen, smashed the shop owner’s head repeatedly before stabbing him in the neck with a metal chopstick. The victim, surnamed Lin, died at the scene. Dawen tied up his wife and children before fleeing the shop, according to Tomo News:
We don’t want to fear chopsticks, but these stories aren’t helping. Nor is this.
