Opening Night “Never Talk to Strangers” @ island6 ShGarden
Find yourself in need of a release? island6 and the Liu Dao collective feel your existential pain, and have tasked themselves with exploring the mode and motive of human longing in their surreal exhibition, “Never Talk to Strangers.” The show engages the concept of the authenticity of time and experience, and the eternal interplay between the agency of self and the whims of the universe. Bathe in the glow of their latest multimedia artworks and ponder the dichotomy of the bizarre and the soothing. What is that ever-evasive thing that will grant access to understanding being and experience? We may not know the answer, but we can help you get there.

In 1924, the Russian-born Serge Koussevitzky led the orchestra into its golden ages, by establishing its summer home at Tanglewood and commissioning many new works from prominent 20th century’s composers. In 1979, under the direction of Seiji Ozawa, the BSO became the first American orchestra to tour mainland China after the normalization of relations.
