Sonoma Valley Wine Dinner: And if that’s not enough to inundate you with tipple, head to Morton’s on May 22, where they’ll be hosting a sumptuous wine pairing dinner. Eats include centre-cut filet mignon, New York strip and lamb chop served with steamed asparagus and roasted herb potatoes. And they’ll be complimented with a delicious selection of wines, including the 2012 Hartford Family Wines Zinfandel from Russian River Valley, a complex 2009 Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley and a 2012 Twomey Cellars Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley. There’ll also be a cheese platter with strawberry dips and a 2011 Seghesio Family Vineyards Old Vine Zinfandel from Sonoma County.
