Two pregnant women drew a crowd of onlookers/gawkers when they entered a dancing contest on Hebi Square in Henan province. They attracted even more after they both won silver medals, according to Sina Weibo. Thank god they didn’t have to do “the worm.”
Some netizens applauded the two “full belly dancers” for their their boldness and skill, while others criticized their actions as reckless:
“Pregnant women can’t stay still all the time, so it’s good to do some mild-graded exercise.”
“I think their children would dance just after they were born.”
“I am always confused about this: They don’t even care, why you all worry about their business?”
“Moving more can help them give birth to babies more easily.”
“Are you sure there were only two pregnant women, not a few?”
“It’s beautiful. Where is the bad thing for babies?”
“Just take it as the babies have been on a roller coaster.”
“If their health condition is allowed, it won’t be bad at all.”
“How bizarre!”
We can only hope the baby moonwalks out of the womb when it’s born.
