A 35-year-old man surnamed Chen reportedly injured 8 kids with a knife at a school in central China’s Hubei Province on Tuesday. Local police suspect the man was under the influence of methamphetamine during the attack in which, thankfully, no one was killed.
“The migrant worker rushed into the Wulidun elementary school carrying a kitchen knife at around 12:19 p.m. on Tuesday and started to attack students,”CRI English reported.
According to the local police, Chen holds a nasty track record when it comes to drug use and had already been imprisoned for usage in 2006 and 2010.
In response to this attack, the local government has suspended the school head and sacked the head of school security. As for the culprit? Surprisingly, his fate remains unknown as “further investigation is under way,” according to Sino-US.com.
