Bocuse d’Or: The Bocuse d’Or, the legendary world cooking contest started by French cuisine grandaddy Paul Bocuse, is holding its Asia-Pacific leg at the 800 Show in Shanghai on June 26-27. Contestants from China, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, India and Vietnam, will compete in multiple categories to land a spot at the final in Lyon, France in 2015. The event will be presided over by none other than Paul Bocuse’s son, Jerome Bocuse. Admission is free. RSVP here. Check out the event schedule below:

Omnivore World Tour: Speaking of famous French food fests in Shanghai, Luc Dubanchet’s Omnivore World Tour will be in Shanghai from June 26-28, meaning culinary big-wigs from around the world will be gathering at Three on the Bund for a series of masterclasses, pop-up dinners, and parties. And they’re all free! Headliners include David Thompson of Nahm in Bangkok, Ryan Clift and Christophe Saintagne.
