Swearing can be a powerful thing. Lurking within these forbidden curse words is a magic that can alleviate pain, persuade crowds, and awaken our most animalistic instincts. As one elderly woman in Nanjing learnt this weekend, however, with great power comes great responsibility.
On Sunday morning, an 80-something-year-old lady boarded the number 49 bus via the back door. When the female driver reminded her that the front door was for boarding she unleashed a two-minute-long stream of vitriol so potent that the driver went unconscious – bringing whole new meaning to the expression “cursed out.” The bus had to be abandoned by its passengers as a result, and the woman reportedly stormed off furiously still muttering curses.
‘CO’: Cursed Out
As yet, no video has emerged of the octogenarian’s epic tirade, but this is probably for our own good.
This isn’t the first time an old lady’s rant has demonstrated superpower-like qualities. Last month, upon being kidnapped, an old lady harangued her captors so relentlessly that they finally set her free.
