“Bruce Lee asked me to look for Stephen Chow” said a Xi’an man who claimed to have an ‘outstanding’ script for the famous HK director.
The 33-year old man first caught the public’s eye while hanging around Kowloon Tong with a sign displaying the message “Looking for Steven Chow” and “Bruce Lee asked me to look for you for movie-making.”
“After being told by Bruce Lee in a dream, I’ve been writing an outstanding script for Chow” the man said.
The man claimed that he’d failed to find Chow in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui starting from last Thursday, but would continue the search in Beijing later.
He also claimed he was one of Chow’s number one fans and that he looked for Chow in Kowloon Tong as he believed that there were many movie companies there.
After investigation, police dubbed the case “silly man found” (傻人發現案) and let the man leave. We feel this might call for a restraining order and some anti-psychotics.
