The Dalin Museum for Sexology is one of two sexology museums in China, the other taking residence in our very own Shanghai. The four themes of the museum include sexual paraphernalia, reproductive health, STDs, and erotic nude art and photography, according to Changjiang Weekly, and among over 700 sex objects on display are erotic images and sculptures dating back to the Northern Wei Dynasty (368-534 AD).
Recently, the museum began exhibiting a new series of ancient Chinese sexual artifacts, including some rarely-seen coins used in foreign and domestic brothels. Take a look at the exceptional Ancient Chinese art (and try to figure out what-the-hell the use for half of the objects is without looking at the captions first).
