Hong Kong’s MTR authorities have warned passengers that indecent behavior in train compartments could result in a fine of 5,000 HKD after a video of a middle-aged man creepily rubbing against a pole on a train began circulating across the web.
In the video, the man in his 50s is seen kissing and hugging the pole as the train arrived at Shek Kip Mei on the way to Tiu Keng Leng.
The person who uploaded the footage, identified as Alex, said that the man had even gazed at a woman standing nearby and began sticking his hands down his pants as though he were “searching for something”. He was licking and hugging the pole “non-stop”.
The video elicited a response from an MTR spokesman who said that creating disturbances for other passengers on the train could lead to a fine of up to 5000 HKD.
Netizens suspected that the pole dancer was the same “Uncle Pole” who often appeared on trains back in 2009, as the outfits and hairstyle are similar.
Five years ago, videos were uploaded to YouTube showing a middle-aged man dubbed “Uncle Pole” who was spotted licking and rubbing against a train pole in a similar style.
The original “Uncle Pole”, who manages to out-creep even Beijing’s under-seat groper.
