Thought that smoking toddler was bad? A 2-year-old boy in Anhui province has become known as the “Little Winebibber” due to his preference for alcohol over milk. We wonder how his parents will feel upon seeing his “first twelve steps.”
Before the age of 1, the kid, named Cheng Cheng had reportedly already tasted both white and red wine and beer. Although only a toddler, the pint-sized Dionysiac can reportedly drink up the whole bottle of beer without experiencing ‘Asian glow’ or an increased heart rate.
Cheng Cheng allegedly first tried wine when he was only 10 months old. His father put wine-dipped chopsticks into his mouth after he wouldn’t stop reaching for daddy’s wine cup. His aunt surnamed Cai said: “At that time, all of us in the family have already thought that this child can really drink a lot when he grows up.” “Parents of the Year,” everyone!
And Cheng Cheng’s interest in alcohol has only soared. Whenever his family takes out bottles of alcohol, he demands to drink some. Fortunately, his parents have taken measures to curb what should’ve been easily-preventable alcoholism. His mother has reportedly tried to get him to swap booze for milk, juice or other drinks. However, Cheng Cheng does not bother with these. His eyes are always on the alcohol bottles. His family says they can only try their best to store the bottles in a place which not seen by him. Can someone please waterboard these people with baijiu?
Cai said that during big festivals Cheng Cheng would cry for alcohol when he saw relatives and friends drinking. “As sometimes he is really noisy, we have no options but let him to try a little bit of wine,” a family member said.
A few days ago, Cheng Cheng’s father was in a good mood and shared the bottle of beer with Cheng Cheng under the hot weather. Cheng Cheng then took the bottle of beer and downed it without experiencing a flushed face or fast heartbeat. He asked for more after drinking it. His mother and aunt were shocked by this and snatched the empty bottle away immediately.
Cai said that Cheng Cheng’s ability to handle alcohol has made the family both surprised and worried. “We will not let him drink or touch alcohol anymore as we afraid that it will affect his growth,” she added.
Pediatricians in mainland China said that the body and organs in children at this age are not well-developed. A little bit of alcohol can harm their health easily.
