This man was seen last Wednesday holding a board that reads “Fired for watching World Cup, looking for humane boss” at the entrance of Chongwenmen station of the Beijing No.5 Subway Line.
On June 16, the World Cup fan faked a cold to leave work early so that he could watch the Germany-Portugal game. CRIEnglish.com reports how he got busted:
After the final whistle blew on Germany vs. Portugal, he talked about the match on social media.
His posts of football fandom were seen by one of the vice managers of the company where he was employed, who told him “no need to come to work.”
We’re with you buddy. Now please let the rest of the world know if you find that employer.
