A group of volunteers from the environmental protection association at Anhui University got very imaginative when referring to the fate of mankind in a piece of “action art” themed “the revenge of nature” at Anhui’s Apricot Park on July 10.
The event aimed to call attention to ecological protection and harmony between man and nature through a performance piece that involved a tree brutally bludgeoning a man to death.
They told reporters that they were inspired when they carried out research in Anhui’s Anqing city and found many trees had been widely destroyed by excessive stone mining.
Don’t say they didn’t warn you.
