A birthday party held in Henan province on July 13 was awarded by the China Records Headquarters in Shanghai as being the country’s largest birthday party ever as 2,136 people showed up to share a massive 60-meter-long cake.
Chongdungou’s deputy general manager Yang Jianbing told reporters that, according to regulations of the event, staff members who were born on July 12th or 13th could join the party. The birthday people who were under 60 years old could bring five of their friends and relatives to eat and stay for free in Chongdungou for one day. Those who were 60 to 80 years old could bring 10 guests and anyone turning 80 or above could bring 30. There were 2,136 people in total who in participated the party.
