A 30-year-old man in Wuhan got turned into a human shishkebab while trying to scale a fence. Luckily, he survived, but not without sustaining a grisly injury. [Warning: Graphic Images]
The man, surnamed Wu, was reportedly taking a side street to his house, but discovered that the side door was locked. Wu and his friends then chose a shortcut that involved scaling a fence. Unfortunately, Wu got his left arm and shoulder skewered on a spire while jumping down. He passed out shortly thereafter, prompting his friends to call an ambulance.
Upon arriving at the scene, firemen used a bar-cutter to cut the fence’s spire to help extract Wu. They then used hydraulic cutters to cut the surrounding rebar. Finally, they used a blade-less circular saw to help remove the rebar piercing Wu’s shoulder. After 5-minutes of cutting, Wu was rescued and sent to the hospital.
Luckily, Wu’s bones and organs were undamaged. He regained consciousness after the surgery at around 9 am on Tuesday.
